My fairy tale wedding took place on the 4th of October 2014 in St Helena Bay in the West Coast at the Wedding Venue Sea Trader. When the day finally arrived I was so overwhelmed with joy, love and excitement. I couldn't wait to see my husband to be and was thinking of him the whole day through. I've been praying since I've been a little girl asking God to send the right man over my path, the man who knows Him, the man I can give my whole heart to. Since I've been dating my husband we've been praying together. When I was walking down the aisle, in my case a foot path next to the beautiful West Coast. The ocean was so calm and blue. While I was walking I played a message that I recorder for my husband to be, something to let him know what this day is meaning to me and what a privilege it is to become his wife, the message knocked him off his feet and he was in tears as well as our family and friends. The Wedding March started to play and as soon as I laid my eyes on my husband a sort of calmness came over me and I couldn't stop smiling. Everything was just perfect. After signing the register we enjoyed canapés and pre-drinks with our guests and then went for our photo shoot. The wedding venue and their team was amazing, they prepared the best food ever and made sure everybody was happy all the time. I wanted to arrange everything of our wedding by myself. When my husband saw the end product; the décor, all the small detail, he said to me at the altar now he understands why I sometimes stressed throughout the 10months of planning our wedding, everything looks beautiful. That meant the world to me and I appreciated our Wedding Day even more. We opened the dance floor on Riana Nel's song Dans and the guests stood around the dance floor with a sparkle in their hand...it looked so beautiful.
We enjoyed our special day so much with our family and friends.
I am so grateful for the man I married, the choices we made together, for our families and friends who travelled so far to enjoy our day with us. I am so grateful to have stunning photos to remind me of our special day.
The 4th of October 2014 is a day I will cherish forever!!
