Married on Jan 5, 2014 in Kwa-Zulu Natal

8 years ago, with the sand at my feet, wind in my hair and the sunset on the horizon... in the distance I saw a sculptured man galloping with grace towards.... JUST KIDDING. My husband and I met through mutual friends 8 years ago, a wedding was long overdue.

In true Bollywood style, with all the glitz and glam... move over Guptas.
Our fairytale started with a Game Drive at Rain Farm for the perfect, picturesque backdrop for our photography shoot. The nuptuals soon followed at Collisheen Estate (The venue that boasts a mix of charm, outdoors and elegance) hidden behind the sugar cane in the heart of Ballito. Having dated for 8 years, finally marrying in tradional Tamil ceremony, we were elated from start to finish. Reception followed with the usual speeches, cutting of the cake and toasts. But the fun didnt stop, with everything from a belly dancer to embaressing pictures (courtesy of the funky retro photobooth) and memory lane to home made desserts, crosswords and madlibs... we kept the guests guessing, dancing and entertained.

There were many moments of magic but my most treasured was our first dance and my dashing husband's (Bashin Kistnan) speech as this was a surprize as he is a real introvert. He succeeded in making my dreams a reality and the photographer captured every laugh and tear, a true artist in his field. Thanks Craig, Unprecedented Pictures

The only component that would have escalated the day to perfection was the presence of the man that played a pivitol role in my life, that is my late dad whom I hope was there in spirit.
