Married on Nov 9, 2013 in Kwa-Zulu Natal

Having travelled the world working as an airhostess, I finally decided to return home to South Africa.

I was skeptical about online dating at first, but after some convincing by my twin sister I thought I’d give it a try. I can clearly remember the day I first saw my luvvie’s profile picture, looking oh so dreamy in a suit at his sister’s wedding. I didn’t even hesitate when I “liked” his profile. And he immediately liked mine back.

We started texting each other . . . more texts everyday! Two weeks later, on a beautiful Sunday morning , we met for the very first time ! And the rest as they say . . . is history!

We’ve been in love ever since… two halves of the same soul.

Our wedding was such a special day for us. While we planned it together and made sure it was everything our hearts’ desired – the highlight was saying ‘I do’ to my soulmate and best friend.

We were married at Cranford Country Estate in the gorgeous Midlands! They say if it rains on your wedding day it’s good luck . . . well we got enough luck and love to last a lifetime because it hailed and stormed like never before at the Estate!

I arranged all the decor and flowers for our wedding on my own because I wanted the day to be a true reflection of our love. It was simple and pure – and beautiful!

As a result of the storm, there was no electricity at our reception hall, but we were bathed in candlelight which only made the setting more romantic.

There were thoughtful and humorous speeches, delicious food, dancing and most of all family and friends who shared in the celebration of our love We will remember our wedding day for so many different reasons but mainly because it marked the start of forever – together.
