Cape Town Wedding Dress designer Cindy Bam works from her Studio in Cape Town where she meets with her clients to design and manufacture the beautiful gowns that have become her trademark. For custom, made on your measurements wedding gowns please email your information and pictures or ideas to us so she can properly prepare for your appointment.
Working on hourly appointments, she charges a consultation fee of R500 per hour. We find an hour is more than enough time to discuss your gown and try on sample gowns to get a better idea of what your gown will look like. Remember to bring the undergarments and shoes you will wear on the day, to ensure a proper fit.
We are busy with a collection of unique ready-to-wear gowns for the bride who wants to buy a finished gown, who has no time for fittings, or who has a set budget. These gowns are all made in specific sizes. You can also order any of these styles in your size. Minor adjustments can be accommodated, and you will be quoted accordingly. Andree will assist you with these ready-to-wear gowns, these dresses are priced from R8,000. The consultation fee with Andree is R350 per hour; please email your information and pictures or ideas to us so she can properly prepare for your appointment.
If you would like to have a gown made for you and you have (or perhaps don’t have) an idea of what you want, then make an appointment with Cindy who will consult with you for an hour. After hearing your ideas and vision for your gown, you will try on sample gowns to get a better idea of what your gown will look like. Bridal gown silhouettes and styles can really accentuate or de-emphasize various body features. Cindy highly recommends that you try on multiple styles to determine what looks best on you and what feels most comfortable. She will also make sure that the gown and the overall look match the formality of your wedding venue. Cindy will then provide you with a design sketch that will complement your body, match your wedding style and ensure that you are on the same page. When you are absolutely happy with the design and chosen materials, a quotation will be emailed to you. Our prices for a gown made to your measurements start from R20,000, R25,000 or R35,000 depending on your chosen fabric and details.
Every measurement is taken to ensure your comfort and to provide a relaxed, luxurious atmosphere where you’ll have fun planning your dream gown. Cindy and her team will be there for you from the day you walk through our Studio doors until after your big day. Study the map before you arrive in Cape Town and you will get a head start on finding your way to the Studio.
