Jonkershuis Constantia is nestled inside the Historic Core of the Groot Constantia Wine Estate, with panoramic views of the peninsula and the majestic Constantia Valley. Our Cape Malay influenced bistro lies next to the Historic Manor house and is surrounded by ancient oak trees and the legendary Groot Constantia Vineyards only 20 minutes from the city centre, in the heart of the Constantia Wine Valley.

We offer ceremonial options ranging from the Groot Constantia Vineyards & False Bay coast as a backdrop, to the Oak Tree lined Avenue backed by the 400 year old Groot Constantia Manor House. We offer you a timeless setting to exchange your vows.

Our reception venues can accommodate a small intimate affair of 20 guests to larger receptions of 100 - 200 guests. Our friendly, attentive and professional staff will take care of you and your guests' every need, allowing you to relax and enjoy a memorable occasion on the oldest Wine Estate in South Africa.

Our goal is to utilize this beautiful venue to its full capacity”, says co–owner, Tammy Botbyl. Come and dine al fresco overlooking False Bay, on the original gravel road leading to the manor house or in the courtyard under the vines. Inside, dining is elegant and informal, with a double sided fireplace that adds warmth and grandeur. Our function room next to the main restaurant has a fireplace at each end & wooden ceilings leading out to the old wagon courtyard. The rich cultural history of Jonkershuis lends a magical and old world charm to all functions it hosts and many a newly-wed have toasted to their future in this historical setting.
