Art of Sound The single most important element of your total wedding celebration, is without any doubt, the sound and music.

We have all attended weddings where the microphone was giving feedback, resulting in screeches and whines. Poor quality loudspeakers blaring out unintelligible noise instead of clear speech and music. This is caused by second rate equipment, and inexperienced operators. I use only YAMAHA sound equipment, and SHURE microphones. Both there brands are of world-renowned superior quality. I have had many years experience as sound engineer, including touring with several of South Africa’s most famous singers. For the past seven years I have specialized in providing a superior quality sound and music service for hundreds of extremely successful weddings. Many references from very happy brides are available. An all-encompassing service is available, including sound for your garden ceremony, beach ceremony, or wherever you may need it. Music is selected from my database of more than twenty-six thousand songs of all genres, covering all eras from the 30s, through to the most up to date hits. All my equipment is powered through a UPS; so there will be no break in continuity should a power failure occur. A back-up generator is available, (by prior arrangement), should that be needed. Please allow me the opportunity to quote for your wedding; you will be pleased at the affordable rates and special services offered.

The history of wedding dresses
Wedding dresses are steeped in tradition. And while history lessons are normally boring, we feel it's better if you understand where wedding dresses came from, and how their role has developed over time.
Selecting your Minister
Every wedding is a very personal and special occasion and calls for a number of climactic points.
The Wedding Garter Tradition
Weddings are full of customs and traditions and one of the most celebrated wedding traditions is the tossing of the wedding garter. This practice of garter-tossing dates as far back as early as the mid-fourteenth century. In order to confirm the consummation of the union it was customary for a family member to retrieve a piece of the bride’s clothing, particularly an undergarment, because people believed the piece of clothing would bring good luck to the person who received it.
LIGHT A LANTERN
Because you want your wedding to be memorable and special, Light a Lantern offers decorative lanterns that are not only distinctive but environmentally and wedding budget friendly.
Four-Season Tent
The wedding marquee has evolved from a practical convenience to a reception style. Over time, the design of the marquee – inside and out – has been improved to create an impression...
