One of my favourite highlights of our day was when we released the doves and mine came right back to me and sat in in my hand!! I was blown away by the nature of the dove! Other highlights include most of out guests staying until 04:00 am and myself, my husband, my maid of honour and the best man NEVER SLEPT! We walked around the venue the next morning still with our wedding clothes on, we had a joll! My most favourite moment of the day is definitely when we got to say “I DO” and promise our never ending love to each other! Everything was just perfect!
Yes!!!! And was it amazing!! We won our honeymoon last year when we entered a competition! We went to Thailand and travelled the whole of Phuket and explired the night life in Bangla Road. We visited lots of the Islands and did as much as possible! There was no time for rest!
After Thailand we stopped in Dubai where we visited the Burj Khalifa, Ferrari World and the Palm Waterpark! Eveything about Dubai was amazing and we loved to get to know the different cultures in the world!
I had a modern wedding look. My wedding dress was ivory in colour and it was a mermaid style with lace and satin. I wore ivory lingerie as well and had pearl earrings and bracelet on that I got from my husband as a wedding gift. For the something blue part, my grandma bought me a blue bellyring!! I had medium healed shoes on and it was made from pearls and crystals! BEAUTIFUL! My grandparents also bought my a hairband made of pearls.
We got married in the beautiful bushveld at Mangwa Valley Game Lodge in Hammanskraal, Pretoria. We had a weekend wedding and most of our guests stayed over Friday and celebrated all Saturday night! The venue had the most beautiful chalets and rooms for our guests and everything was neat and clean!
I went for a facial, sunbed sessions, exercised a lot and ate healthy!! I drank a lot of water everyday and went to the spa with my bridesmaids. I tried to go to the gym reguraly and played action netball with friends for extra exerise.

We asked my cousin’s grandmother to make the bridesmaides dresses. It was one off shoulder and it was navy in colour and decorated with swarofski crystals for extra shine. It was made of satin and chiffon. It was short in front and a little longer at the back! They looked so pretty!

Rentia Smith Photography captured our engagement and wedding photos. She is a top vendor award winner and we had so much fun with them and they made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. There are nooooo or minimum serious photo’s because they made us laugh the whole time. We used Pink Flower Productions as a videographer who did an amazing job! We are extremely satisfied with both of them! Ee could not have asked for better people to work with!

The game ranger bakkie picked myself, my dad and the bridesmaid up at the honeymoon suite at the venue. The chapel and hall are walking distance so no transport was needed. We used the game ranger bakkie again when we went to take our photos in the nature reserve! It was so much fun. The venue prepared snacks and champange for us.
The venue prepared the food and we received a lot of compliments from out guests saying that the food was delicious! My uncle made the wedding cake and cupcakes!
I used Troulantyntjies to print my save the dates, invites, menu’s, newspapers and the groomsmen and groom’s badges. They did a stunning job!
AMA Promotions was our DJ and they were so professional and really got the party started! We had a friend from Cape Town performing sets in between the party. He also sang our opening dance song! We had lazers, a low cloud machine and smoke machine.
