Magical Moments

Walking down the aisle to marry my guy and see his face smiling back and holding back his tears will always be my fondest memory of the day.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect and its everything we dreamed of and so much more. It was a day filled with so much love, laughter and togetherness.

The Honeymoon

We spent our first week in sun city and our second week in Cape Town. Both Yaseen and I have been abroad and I had never been to Cape Town. So we decided to keep it local.

My Special Day

I went for a very classic look. Something simple and elegant.

My gown was made by Lynn Doyle

Hair was done by Deidre Green Hairstylist. Make up was done by Amy Sprawson Make-up

Accessories were from Luvisa

The Venue

We got married at our Lady of Cedars in woodmead and had our reception at Metro in Bryanston. We, as couple didnt want our guests travelling far so we had our wedding at a very central destination.

My Bridal Beauty Regime

To be honest, My wedding day was more than obsessing about my image. I tried to eat alot healthier. I thoroughly enjoyed the process and chose to not let the beauty regime take priority.

Wedding Elements

When we met with Tanya from memories4u she asked us what we envisioned for our wedding, we (as a couple) said classy, unique and fun.

our vision was for the wedding to be inspired by Gatsby/ Jazz era. We went with gold tones, warm lighting and Gold painted palm leaves covered in glitter. We did Gatsby 'uniquely'

Tanya and her team managed the rest and truly exceeded our vision. All decor and flowers were provided by memories4u.

Lighting was provided by Roberto from Bluemoon Productions

My Groom And His Groomsmen

The groomsman and groom all had bespoke suits made. They wore navy blue suits with rose gold ties and accessories. The suits were complemented with feather lepels which were made by our wedding planner.

Beautiful Bridesmaids

The bridesmaids wore rose gold and champagne dresses. Their hair and makeup was inspired by the 1920's

Marriage Officer

We got married at Our Lady of Cedars in Woodmead. Our mass was officiated by Father Pierre

My Captured Moments

The sensational team from chillipix. Eugene and Charlotte are truly the best photographers. They captured every moment and even partied the night away with our guests.

The Wedding Planner

We partnered with the incredible team from memories4u. Tanya is without a doubt one of the best wedding planners in the business. Perfection in every sense of the word. She is also partnered with the best suppliers. We owe the success of our wedding to her team. She is known as the 'fairy grandmother' and I couldn't think of a more fitting alias.

Wedding Transport

Our planner (Memories4u) arranged for us to use a 1929 dodge through the company called Memories Vintage Car Hire.

Food & Cake

We had our reception at Metro in Bryanston. All meals were plated.

Our wedding cake was designed by the formidable and highly talented Cake Genie.

Wedding Stationery

This was all managed for us by our planner.... Our Fairy God Mother

The Reception and Entertainment

Yaseen and I wanted to give our guests the very best party. We used Roberto Gonsalves from blue moon productions as our DJ and

We also surprised our guests with live entertainment from the sensational and highly talented Dr Victor and the Rasta Rebels.
