I met Divan on a cold and rainy day in 2015. He was helping a friend move and I was there that day. He was shy and extremely quite. A few weeks later we saw each other again at a friends birthday. We danced and everyone was routing for " Dave & Dale " .
He traveled quite a bit for work and we finally went on a " date " to the dog park. It only took one more date at A la Turka and it was official!!! 7 months later we got engaged!
We had a private & intimate engagement that was followed by an amazing show and celebration at Barnyard.
It was perfect. Just the two of us - even though it was freezing!
The most memorable moment of our wedding would be our ceremony. As I came walking down the isle, Divan was infront. The tears were flowing and my heart was pounding!!
We went on a spontaneous roadtrip. We didnt book anything. As we went we booked our accommodation on Airbnb. Our first stop was in Uppington followed by Hondeklipbaai, Sea Point CT , Somerset Wes , Mosselbaai, Kimberley and then PTA ( HOME )
We went for a very earthy wedding.
Flowers & runners were provided by Royal Flowers and Functions.
My hair was done by a Colleague who works with me at Revolution style professionals. Curls and pinned to the side.
Make up was done by Angelique Pienaar from Tinique & Co.
My wedding dress is a Enzoani Dakota. Ivory & Dove Gray with lace.
Accessories & Jewellery was bought at Lovisa.
Lingerie was bought at La Senza
We got married at Lavandou.
Romantic & Earthy. Soft lighting and loads of candles.
