How did your love story begin?

We were neighbors on the farm!!:-D We are both form a small farming community in Sannieshof North-West, we went to the same primary school and took the same bus (which for us means we sat next to each other in the back of a farmer's bakkie) . We never knew that we were meant to be... as we look back now we can see how our paths were always linked.

Tell us all about the proposal.

On 15 June 2016 we celebrated our 2 year anniversary... and my husband Willem Olivier Erasmus planned the best anniversary outing EVER!!! He took me to Escape Room SA where I was tricked into putting on the most amazing dress!! And as we solved the puzzles I would never have guessed that the last puzzle would end in him playing our song on the guitar (he went out of his way to learn how to play the guitar) and singing very emotionally and then getting down on one knee... with the most amazing ring that he designed himself!! I am the most girl in the whole wide world!

On our 2 year anniversary we got engaged and we celebrated our 3rd year together by getting married:-D

The Honeymoon

Of Course!:-D We went to Italy... In Tuscany we ate, laughed, reminisced about our perfect wedding day and french kissed in public like the locals do:-D Every moment was amazing!!!:-D

My Special Day

My husband had 2 requests for our wedding 1 - have a dress that you can dance in and 2 - Please look like yourself. And that is exactly what he got, a natural look and a stunning dress that was amazing to dance in.

My shoes were the best!! And very comfortable, handmade Vellies.

Wedding Elements

Everyone LOVED our tables, Purple, Midnight Blue and Brown. The flowers were insane!! Everyone wanted to take some home and go figure out what kind of flower it was, it was absolutely breathtaking.

The Reception and Entertainment

On the second day after our engagement we went to Dance Culture and joined for a whole year, and in August of this year we will be returning:-D It is SO MUCH FUN!! And a wonderful couple activity:-D

At Dance Culture we learned the Sokkie, Quick Waltz, Two Step and Rumba. 4 Months before the wedding we started with our wedding dance - A Waltz to the Newsboys song All The Way.
