Our love story began with an epic introduction... The groom's name is Janri, so the names were an immediate ice breaker!!
Well I don't have the most romantic husband, but the proposal was definitely unexpected! We went on a "romantic" weekend away to the Kruger Park. The Saturday whilst I was relaxing like a Queen B on an outside sofa admiring Janri busy braaing, he casually turned around looked me in the eyes and said: "Let's get married"
The whole day was AMAZING! So much fun, so much laughter and stress free! My highlight of the day was when Janri did a very funny turn/dance in front of the chapel after I finally walked down the aisle.
Also the hour we spend on our wedding night de-tangling my hair!!
We went to my favorite place in South Africa... Cape Town!!
I tried to get Janri to drink wine! Failed!
My dress was a gorgeous Sophia Tholli dress, hugged my curves perfectly.
Hair and makeup was simple yet elegant.
My wedding shoes were the most comfortable " Liefde wen Vellies"!!
I wore my engagement ring around my neck. I couldn't find a wedding band that fit with my engagement ring so Janri bought me a new wedding ring with a wedding band.
We had the most AMAZING weekend wedding at Lapeng Guest Lodge.
We had eucalyptus runners with fynbos and proteas on the tables. We had golden sprayed wine bottles as candle holders. We also had the most adorable paper marche bunnies on the tables.
Janri hired hos Khaki suit from Euro Suit.
