How did your love story begin?

Once upon a time there were two people from totally different worlds... from small beginnings in the countryside to living it up in the big city.

They were just minding their own businesses when cupid had other ideas. He decided to close the gap on a paticular dance floor one Friday night where they "sokkie'd" the night away, oblivious to what was actually happening in their hearts.

Tell us all about the proposal.

On a so called "business" trip overseas which ended up in a magical place where my expectations of "that day" where about to be exceeded beyond my expectations...

From palm trees, white sandy beaches and waterfalls to a private candlelight dinner on a beach with the moonlight as our companion.

My soon to be fiance started the day spilling his cappachino looking all stressed and totally out of character. His walk and talk seemd strange all of a sudden.

The weirdness continued up until a relaxing swim in the infinity pool overlooking the everlasting beauty of the Thai beaches.

Later that evening, all dressed up for a normal night out, we were escorted by a walkway of candles that led to the fairytale site that i'll never forget.

A mesmerizing setting with pink and purple lights enhancing the draping that set the tone for a memorable candlelight dinner.

From the private waiter to the menu options on a ipad to the proposal on one knee was of the highest quality.

Magical Moments

From the minute we opened our eyes till long after midnight our big day was more than perfect!

The Holy Spirit was almost touchable throughout the day and it was clear that God had planned the day for us. An atmosphere of contentment and happiness filled the day.

The three little OO7 agents that brought our rings was one of the highlights.

The Honeymoon

We went to the beautiful island of Mauritius for our honeymoon and had a blissful time getting to know each other on a new level.

My Captured Moments

We had the privilege of working with the amazing team at Mighty Fine Productions on Photos and Video.

We had our Engagement shoot with them, photos, video and a slowmo video that entertained our guest.

The Wedding Planner

My fabulous Mother in law "Ria Kruger" was more than just a planner and made everything easy for us.

With the Makiti team, Bridesmaids and family everything were streamlined easily.

The Reception and Entertainment

We both love dancing...

Growing up on a farm, I learned to dance on my father's feet. I took some dance lessons in the city at Ceroc containing a bit of ballroom, latern and sokkie.

As we met on the dance floor, this was a big part of getting to know each other.

We had one Ceroc lesson together before the wedding.
