I went for a elegant , classic look. My dress was sleek, with long sleeves and a open back . I had a bit of lace and pearl beading on my arms , back and side of my dress.
My make up was very natural with a smoky look.
My hair was in a sleek classic big bun.
We got married at Amanzi Private Game Reserve close to Brandfort in the Free-State. I've always dreamed about my luxury safari wedding and my wedding turned out to be more than I ever expected. All our guest stayed over at Amanzi the night before our wedding for a spitbraai and the night of our wedding.

I started to exercise 3 months before our wedding just to get in shape to fit into my wedding dress and also followed a strict clean diet.I went for 3 facials prior to my wedding just to have a smooth and beautiful glowing skin.
Our decor and flowers were done by Envie concepts , Tony Peng. The flowers were very earthy , rustic with a touch of tropical leaves and a modern feel to it. We had a lot of Banksias, king proteas, Monstera leaves , branches , silver brunia etc.
Our decor was very earthy with malawian chairs and malawian weaved basket lightning hanging from the roof. We had a big tent with fires burning and couches with a pop of colour and a gin bar for all the guest to enjoy their evening and be at their comfort. We had normal lightning until we opened the dancefloor . Then the smoke machine and strobe lightning started. It was such a fun evening and all the guests enjoyed it a lot.
The Groom wore a charcoal colour suit from Khaliques Cedar square and shoes from Aldo. The Groomsmen wore suits and shoes from trenert and country road.
I decided I want my bridesmaids to wear black dressed with long sleeves. I brought 5 of the same dresses at YDE and they simoky looked gorgeous. I told them that they can have soft curls or loose hair , beacause my hair was upstyle. Simoné Niebuhr make up artistry that has also done my make up did all my bridesmaids make up as well.
Pastor Leon Fourie from CRC in Bloemfontein was our mentor and marriage counselor on our wedding day.
Marsel Roothman captured our special day. She also shares a big love for nature with me .
Our photos are out of this world.
We did not make use of a photo booth, but Marsel took photos of the guests throughout the night.
