Magical Moments

The highlight was getting ready with my family and friends...and the moment i saw Quinton waiting for me as we were coming down the isle! He just had this smile i had never seen before and it just made me smile so much more!

The Honeymoon

Yes we did go on honeymoon...We went to Uvongo...We went there as we both love the sea and just wanted to enjoy each others company..It was a great week with great weather and alot of amazing food!

My Special Day

My wedding look...i wanted an outdoor wedding but still to feel like a princess so i had a nice princess wedding dress on, not to puffy, my hair was coloured in different highlights with light curls, and of course a ribbon in my hair, as i love ribbons hehe....my make up was light and comfortable...i had navy blue pumps on as my wedding colours had navy in and the ceremony was outdoors so i wanted to stay comfortable...jewellery was a gift set i had recieved from my mother inlaw one christmas...a night silver necklace with a small heart and diamond...and ear rings that matched...accessories was only our bouquets which i hand made myself out of old reading books and ribbons...

The Venue

We got married on Acorn Guest Farm in Carolina, Mpumalanga....Its an old rustic type of vibe on there farm with the most beautiful trees and old shed...its was truely and amazing feeling to be so involved with nature...the guests slept on the farm in the lovely houses the venue had built...

My Bridal Beauty Regime

To be honest...we dont have much of a budget...so actuallt i was my own bridal regime....me and my mom had our own facials nights just before the wedding...our local salon had helped me and my mother in law trim all the eye lashes and hair that needed to go hehe..

Wedding Elements

Our decor was plain and simple..yet elegant...i hand made flowers with my maid of honour...which we then put in small diamonds with old milk jars we had on our farm...to match the theme...we the put navy blue ribbon with gold around the jars...we then added small bunched of jip flowers and small pieces of navy blue table clothes that my husbands grandmother helped us make...we had fairy light inside , on the tables, outside on table and wooden poles.. We made our own rustic photos frames with fairy lights and had then in a corner for a photo booth...which was pretty fun!

My Groom And His Groomsmen

The groom wore a chino colour pants, with navy blue sneaker stule shoes and a white shirt eith a navy blue waist coat and navy blue tie....the groomsmen wore white shirts with navy blue ties and chino colours pants...no waistcoat...We found there shirts and pants at Markhams and their ties at Edgars Active...

Beautiful Bridesmaids

I had a maid of honour and bridesmaid and they both wore a blue and white dress....light material type dress...short in front and long at the back...with nice silver and navy shoes....and their handmade bouquets.. I had 3 flower girls which wore Black tights and shirts with blue tutus amd ribbons in their hair!

Marriage Officer

Dominee Ehlers...From Ermelo Mpumalanga

My Captured Moments

I had 3 photographers...no videographer...one of my photograghers was my husbands uncle Nicsun Holder, the other one was a close friend of our family Veronica Walhstrand and the 3rd Photographer was a friend of mine from school Mona Liza.. They each had their own style and in the end they captured each of our specials moments! And thanks to them because to me a photo says a thousand words! And they made everything so easy...it was amazing! We had made our own photo booth...we built our own wooden old frames and painted them and had them spread out on a table with a bench where you hold the frame and get your photos taken...it look so amazing at night with all the fairy light surrounding them!

The Wedding Planner

I did not...i just had my wonderful family and friends....helping around every corner if needed! Most things we did on our own.

Wedding Transport

Our wedding transport...was a big John Deere tractor with a trailer on the back...there were nice hay benches with lace over and a big couch where our bridal party could sit on

Food & Cake

We had Lekker Spit Caterers from Johannesburg....They made us a nice spit braai with 3 different types of meat, baby potatoes, veggies and rice and gravy....it was devine! And their services was out of this world! ...my beautiful wedding cake and cupcakes was made my my very own cousin Teresa De Beer...it was sooooo yummy!!

Wedding Stationery

My husband designed our wedding video invites...and all printing was done by me.

The Reception and Entertainment

Our party was amazing! Everyone was having so much fun ! Our DJ was a friend of ours Charles Wahlstrand...He made great music which everyone could enjoy! He also done the lighting for us! We did not take dance lessons hehe we watch you tube videos and just said we will go with the flow...and it was the best dance we ever had!!
