Nishaanie Hariram

Married on Nov 19, 2017 in Gauteng

On the 19 November 2017 my soulmate and I made our commitment official before God, our friends, our family and our angels who guide us from above.
We had our traditional South Indian wedding at Midrand Conference Center.
On this day I married who God created for me, Mr Rowen Moodley... in front of our guests we pledged that no matter what the storm may bring, we will weather it together as one!

Magical Moments

Being treated like a queen by everyone around us and having our daughter enter our reception bringing in a whirlwind of emotions!
Our first dance that started with my brother as my dad is late and he later handed me off to my husband.

The Honeymoon

Unfortunately we did not go on a honeymoon but spent the night at the venue as they provided a honeymoon suite for us... they are absolutely awesome.

My Special Day

The traditional South Indian look with a modern finish.
My clothes (Traditional Indian) were brought in from India together with my shoes and accessories. All courtesy of my very good friends, Wesley and Joe of bridal factor!
Our wedding rings were made by Elegenza Jewelry.
Make up was done by Arvadhi make up and my hair was done by the Golden Scissor salon... all of whom came to me... what an awewom bunch of people.

The Venue

The outside venue at Midrand Conference Center proves to be beautiful at this time of year and the flowers were in full bloom with a water feature as a background for the nuptials. Thereafter their inside halls was an immense beauty for our reception with the outside sporting a cooling of area.

My Bridal Beauty Regime

The weekend before I found myself with a few family members at the Maslow, going to the Africology Spa, got myself a full body experience, mani and pedi.
The Thursday that followed was my hair trial where I colored and shaped my hair courtesy of the Golden Scissor salon. Nails done at the salon with my waxing.
Friday was my henna day where a lady from India was contacted who did an absolute stunning job.
The Saturday morning was an early one where we had our cleansing ceremony at home and at night we hired the club house at a friends place where we continued with our rituals with friends and family and dancing the night away.

Wedding Elements

Our decor the entire week was done by Natsons decor as well as catering. I had the privilege of dealing with a gentleman name Shalen, who at all times went the extra mile!
Flower arrangements for all days were done by the flower market at mall of reds, I dealt with Pedro who made our arrangements exactly like the pics I showed him!
