Dale and I met on 3 March 2012 , at the wedding of mutual friends. I was the violinist and Dale the wedding DJ. We were slightly shy at first but our love blossomed into mutual respect, love,friendship and understanding. We made our vows before God on 11 Nov 2017 .
Our wedding day was a perfect warm sunny day,much like our relationship over the past 5 years! I entered the church on Christina Perri's thousand years and when I saw my prince charming smile and l tell me how stunning I look, I knew I'd love him for a thousand years.
My wedding dress was made by Natalia at house of silk, it had beautiful 3d flowers and lace on it..I went for a very romantic look with a gold flower crown bought at Lovisa. my dress had a soft lace underneath , with a layer of tulle over it, just to add to the whimsical look
I got married in the New Apostolic church in kraaifontein, then the wedding reception was held at Glen Carlou Vineyards in Paarl. Lecinda and her team were excellent. the food was perfectly cooked and guests had more than enough to eat and drink!
I went to bionic hair for a blow dry, I thankfully have great skin, so I just did my normal routine of cleansing , toning and moisturizing.

Decor was pink shades of pink roses with feathers and rose gold candelabras, with rose gold underplates. I went for a vintage theme ,it suited the venue perfectly
I had fairy lights on the tables in between the greenery, only tables and the candles lit, with the perfect backdrop of vineyards , everything looked great and just set the tone.
the groom had on a dark blue suit with a peach tie and the grooms man had a lighter shade of blue on with the same tie. it tied in perfectly with the colours of rose gold and florally pinks
My bridesmaids wore a pale pink &rose gold floral dress. That was my idea, as I wanted something different and I wanted them to also have the romantic , relaxed look , with their loose curls.

I planned the whole event myself, from beginning to end. I had a clear picture of the look I wanted, and my loving husband just agreed to it. in the end it looked great
I had a cup cake stand, with Pink iced chocolate cup cakes, in the pics below.. it has lace holders and the taste was amazing, like angels melting on your tongue ! those were made by TAYLORED TREATS in Durbanville
