Everything was more than I could have hoped for, the day went smoothly and everything was just fantastic. Since I put on my veil my heart started racing, when me and my dad was on our way to Church I asked my dad "is my heart supposed to race like this" and he just smiled and said "breath my child you are excited" when I saw Andre in Church my heart was racing and his face is all I saw. The day was perfect.
We were fortunate enough to go to the beautiful Zimbali Lodge in Balito.
I had my hair in a braid with a lot of braids going into one, and a crown made of pearls that my grandmother wore on her wedding as well as my mother wore to her wedding, it was extremely special. My makeup was very dark, as it accentuates my eyes. My wedding dress was a bit of everything A-line dress with rougeing and a type of lace. My wedding shoes was high heels Tiffany blue for the Church, first dance and photos, and flat blue shoes for the party :). My jewelery was what I inherited from my grandmother, she passed away just a few months ago which made it very special.

Brideinbloom did my flower arangements. My main flower was hydrangeas and aurum lillies. My flowers was the main focal point on my tables.
They wore grey pants and waist coats with white shirts. The groom wore a tiffany blue tie and the groomsmen wore tiffany blue bowties. The waist coats were made by Hettie van Wyk F&H Creations.
My bridesmaids wore floor length dresses that are white at the top and tiffany at the bottom. With white ribbon at the waist and open back.
We were fortunate enough to have my cousin Ockie van Heerden marry us. Was such a blessed and wonderful service.

Oakfield's horse and carriage transported myself and my father from the dressing room to the church.
My cousin Bianca Gomes made our wedding cake, we had a pimp your dougnut stand which was the cake for the guests, that also kept the guests busy while we were taking photos.
The food were provided by Oakfield.
I did all my stationery myself, as I studied art, I enjoyed every second of our DIY wedding.
