Magical Moments

Our wedding day was a fairytale come true. It was everything we had hoped for and more. The morning leading up to our wedding was cold, misty and raining. Although most brides would have had severe anxiety over this, it was the weather we had hoped and prayes for. The
Magoebaskloof mountain is always full of surprises and it proved to everyone how majestic and magical it can be.

Leading up to the ceremony, I will never forget being so overwhelmed by all the emotions. Embracing this special moment as my father walked me down the isle, to him giving me away to the man of my dreams. Every fathers saddest yet proudest moment.

As Jordan and I said our vows to one another, a blanket of mist covered us in the enchanted forest. It was absolutely breathtaking.

We were both so overwhelmed by all the love from our family and friends. They walked this journey with us for the last 7 and a half years. It was an honour to have them witness our fairytale day.

The Honeymoon

Jordan planned a surprise honeymoon. I had absolutely no idea where he was taking me. I thought he would let it slip leading up to the wedding, but he didn't.

We got to OR Tambo and went to check in. He still would not tell me and honestly, I was excited not to know. I know he had planned months for this trip. One by one we checked in and each flight assistant I told the same story "I'm on honeymoon and I don't know where I'm going. Here's my passport but please don't tell me."

We were in the slow lounge when my husband gave me my first ticket.....

A flight to Hong Kong. I was beyond excited! I had always wanted to go to Hong Kong. After me celebrating, he then proceeded to tell me it was just a connecting flight. After a long flight, we landed and waited for our connecting flight. As much as I wanted to try and investigate, I stopped myself and just enjoyed the moment. As we where going through security, the guy in front of us turned around to Jordan and said " Is this your first time in Bali?". Jordan had kept this a secret for so long, he turned around, looked at me and just smiled. I was ecstatic!!!!!

Nusa Dua, Bali was where we spent our first 10days of Honeymoon. Only for Jordan to tell me that there was a second destination too........4 nights in Mong Kok,Hong Kong.

Our honeymoon was full of adventure, travelling, relaxing, shopping and cocktails.
