Watching my husband's reaction ad I walk down the aisle. Seeing him try so hard to fight back tears but succumbing to them with a huge grin. Seeing my friends and family truly enjoy the ceremony and celebrating the start of our new "forever and always" journey together.
We were blessed to spend the week in Knysna, it was short and sweet. Knysna was beautiful again after the horrible fire and it was amazing to start anew just as knysna was starting anew.
My hair and make up was done by Lesley-Ann Solomons of LA makeup artistry. My grandmother designed and made my dress. It was a vintage high neck lace dress, with a front slit.
I wore a navy thigh high boot with a side zip and lace up front finish.
My jewellery consisted of something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue!
My underwear was bought at Edgars and was a soft lacy thong ;)
We got married at my husband's childhood church in Cape Town, belhar. St Mary Magdelene.
I stopped all cars and sugars and did the most important thing a new bride can do. I relaxed! No stress does wonders for the hair, body, nails and skin.
