It was all about sophistication and style at our Lavish wedding celebration. I felt roller - coaster combination of emotions - nervous , excited, stressed , butterflies, anxious not to mention a loot of joy! I wanted everything to go right. There was a chaos to sort out but I tried not to let it overwhelm me.
Walking down the aisle, passing under an arch made of white and blush pink roses with Kenny Lattimore and Chante Moore'' When I Said I Do" sung live by Mnqobi Dlamini. Having our loved ones around us made the day extra special. When we exchanged our vows, it was a significant, life changing moment - hearing my Hubby declare his love for me and dedicate the rest of his life to me was one of the most defining moments of my life.
We felt anxious and excited all at once! that our fruition of all our planning was imminent.
We chose two luxurious venues in Piet Retief, Welgekozen Country Lodge and Welverdiend Guest House. Welgekozen as the venue for the ceremony, the lushly drapped outdoor chill-out area at Welgekozen was glamorous and inviting, the white building complimented the decco all looked fabulous, we liked the garden as well, The reception was held in Welverdiend which was intimate and private. It is a huge luxurious, romantic and a sophisticated venue especially the Hall has bold styling and glass detail in a view of the big Koi Fish pond and a very beautiful garden.
Lindi Buthelezi styled this glorious affair to look like a type of Heaven for us and our guests. It was an event to remember.
One month before the wedding day I started drinking lots of water with lemon and cucumber to cut down on fatty and sugary foods and focused on a diet full of fresh fruits, vegetables and nuts. I also took supplements : omega 3 and 6, vitamin E and B complex.
I made sure I got enough sleep so that I didn't get dark circles around my eyes.
Body exfoliation : As my wedding gowns were half strapped and backless, my neckline , arms and underarms would be on display. So, twice a week, I exfoliated my skin with a mixture of brown sugar, honey, lemon and bicarbonate of soda I also invested in a good toner and night cream.
Face: I steamed my face once a week with warm water and applied the sunscreen before leaving the house.
Hair: I conditioned my hairline daily with a mixture of castor sugar and lavender oils to stimulate growth. I also applied a mixture of bicarbonate of soda with my shampoo to prevent hair loss.
Hands and Nails: I soaked my hands in warm water mixed with Epson salts and lavender oil. My nails were manicured two days before my wedding and they looked healthy and natural, and I moisturised my foot with an olive oil.
Teeth whitening: I mixed the pinch of bicarbonate of soda with the few drops of lemon twice a week and It worked for me.

Glass and gold phoenix chairs, and glass tables filled the massive glass hall, white gold tableware, clear and gold glass underplates, dusty pink napkins with clear ribbon, touch of gold crystal chandeliers and glasses. White and dusty pink Proteas, white lily ,white avalanche, dusty pink, cream roses, Casablanca lily buds and green flowers gave the Hall a soft, romantic feel.

Our choice of colours were: Gold, clear, cream and dusty pink.
Bridal Table: King and Queen chair, and the gold background, the stage, cream furly mat and some flowers completed the look.

Our marriage officer was Pastor Mndebele from BWC church in Piet Retief. We love Him, he was full of energy! (vavaavuum).
Cementing our bond before God, surrounded by our loved ones, perfectly contented. Our speeches were extremely heartfelt, sincere and emotional. It was a perfectly honest time to us.
