When you start planning your wedding, you have a picture of how the day will be and what your wedding will look like but our day was much-much more and better than I could have ever imagined.
We both love the Kalahari so we had a’ Kalahari in the Winelands’ wedding with real Kalahari sand.
My most special moment was when I walked into the church with my hand in my farther’s, seeking and then finding those eyes of my soon to be husband. I never left his eyes until we were in front. So blessed to have this wonderful person in my life and to be loved by him.
Allesverloren was our first and last choice for a venue. What a place to have your reception. We did our pre-drinks and starter a little bit different to the traditional way, we had our pre-drinks and starter in one. Our guests had a ‘farm house’ buffet table together with their pre-drinks and could enjoy their time eating and drinking while we had our photos taken. Needless to say, main course had to wait and later the evening the menu was ended with an ice cream Van outside, bringing back some childhood memories.
From setting up the venue, getting ready, driving in a beautiful royal blue Desoto walking into the church, to the photos, eating, dancing, celebrating our day with all our special friends and family, was truely amazing. An unforgettable day and a wonderful and blessed start to Mr and Mrs Louw.
Oak trees, vineyards, mountain views, excellent cuisine, award winning wines and a purpose built reception venue all add up to the perfect place to host your wedding reception.
