Review: Madeleen Health and Beauty Studio

Madeleen Strauss started building her own make-up and hair portfolio and complimented this by doing treatments from her flat in Stellenbosch in the hope of working on one of the luxury cruise liners. She did the hair and make-up for her first bride in 2004 and as she says, “The rest is history!” She adds that, “it has been 6 years and still the cruise liners have never seen me.” Working out of her flat turned out to be a huge success and in 2008 she started her own company called Madeleen Health and Beauty Studio. She moved and re-launched her business to Welgevonden Estate’s newest commercial development, Stone Square.

On entering the studio you are welcomed by friendly staff and a beautiful environment that ensure an immediate comfort and sense of luxury. Looking around you will notice the vast number of certificates on the wall, confirming the talent and ability of Madeleen, a tiny brunette with a great personality and a conversation starter of note.



Being pampered is every woman’s natural desire, and this is exactly what you will get when visiting the studio. Madeleen has extensive knowledge of the health and beauty industry - she completed her masters in Health and Beauty at Isa Carstens and also achieved a diploma in hair and make-up design.
When you get there, you will be greeted with a welcoming handshake and a friendly smile, but when you leave chances are you will be bid farewell with a hug and a promise to visit again!

In the 3 hours I spend at Madeleen’s Health and Beauty Studio, I was thrilled to have met one of the nicest people I now know. While I’m sitting here, busy writing this review, my feet are soft and very happy, my hands look like a million dollars, my body is as moisturized and silky as…silk and my eyebrows have never been this content!

I can in all honesty say that Madeleen is someone to have as your therapist…and have I told you about her ‘All Countries’ Bridal Package? You are going to have to go there for the full experience…WOW!
