Q&A With The Honeymoon Competition Winners – Alan And Yolandi
After receiving more than 80 entries, Alan and Yolandi walked away with a Honeymoon worth more than R6,000.

They will be jetting off to Bamboo, the Guesthouse in Knysna next month where they will enjoy a three night stay in their lavish loft Honeymoon Suite and a guided half day hike or canoe trip in the glorious Goukamma Nature Reserve from Knysna Forest Tours. An exhilarating guided canopy tour in the magnificent indigenous Tsitsikamma Forest from Stormsriver Adventures will follow with a romantic sunset cruise on Knysna Lagoon by Knysna Charters also included. Afterwards they will enjoy a three course dinner for two at Cornuti Knysna – celebrating their love in one of South Africa’s most beautiful Regions.
So; what did this lovely couple think of their winning experience – we took some time out and asked them a few questions regarding the Competition and {of course} their amazing Prize!
Did you expect to win this amazing Prize?
Yolandi: I definitely thought when I saw that it was a competition for the best proposal that we stood a chance, as Alan planned such a perfect day and engagement. It was so romantic and perfect and I could not think of anything I would have wanted to be different. When it was opened for voting however, we were both very surprised and delighted by all the support we got as we definitely did not expect that!
What went through your head when it became apparent that you won the Honeymoon Comp?
The prize is truly a great one, packaging everything we love about Knysna. We were absolutely overjoyed and stayed awake especially to see the outcome! Knysna is one of our favourite places and Cornuti is our favourite restaurant in Knysna, so it seemed like it was meant to be.
