Miranda Lambert’s Wedding Gown – Why she chose it
Country Singer, Miranda Lambert knew exactly what wedding dress she will be wearing on her and Blake Shelton’s big day and she needed not to look that far for it.
According to her, “My mom and dad have had a great long marriage and it must have been good luck for them, so I want to start my marriage wearing the same dress my mom had on”.
Miranda’s mother kept the dress – which she wore at her 1979 wedding ceremony - in a cedar chest for more than 30 years; other than adding a train to the already beautiful dress – Miranda left the off-white spaghetti strap dress as is.
She looked beautiful; absolutely perfect.
