Recently I had the privilege of visiting one of the most amazing hospitality destinations in the Cape Town area. Situated on the Van Der Stel Pass, close to Botriver, KolKol Mountain Lodge and The Kitchen@Kolkol offers one a tranquil setting, friendly service and possibly the best sirloin I have ever tasted.

Upon arrival the first that strikes you is the beautifully situated Restaurant, constructed out of glass and wood it offers all individuals – young and old –an atmosphere and serenity you will not find anywhere else. Sitting there in the blissfully quiet venue, overlooking the Babilonstoren Mountains, you really become aware of your surroundings and have the opportunity to take in all of its beauty.
The restaurant offers not only out-of-this-world-exquisite food, but also offers bridal couples the opportunity to connect with nature again in this intimate wedding venue with its wonderfully big dance floor. At the front of the Venue, you are greeted by a green, perfectly manicured lawn – where you can entertain and host your guests under a well lit Bedouin tent – KolKol Really offers something for everybody.
