Cavendish square royal bridal showcase goes off without a “hitch”

The first Cavendish Square Royal Bridal Showcase took place over the weekend of 5 to 7 August 2011 and went off without a “hitch”, showcasing over 50 industry experts and market leaders.
Said Cavendish Square’s Marketing Manager, Madrie Verwey, “This was the final element of our Royal Winter Celebrations, and it was wonderful to end off on such a high note. We have since been inundated with positive feedback from shoppers about the event.”
As part of the Cavendish Square Royal Bridal Celebrations, Cavendish Square, along with retailers Paul van Zyl and Elegance Fabrics ran a competition where one lucky bride would win the wedding dress of her dreams, to the value of R20 000!
Said Madrie Verwey from Cavendish Square, “The winner of this incredible prize is Alta Hattingh from Wynberg, who will be able to select her fabric from ELEGANCE FABRICS in Cavendish Square, and have her dress custom designed by one of South Africa’s leading designers, and Cavendish Square retailer, PAUL VAN ZYL. On behalf of Cavendish Square, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Alta, and to extend special thanks to ELEGANCE FABRICS and PAUL VAN ZYL COUTURE for sponsoring this truly amazing prize.”
On hearing that she had won the custom designed wedding dress, Alta, who is planning a summer wedding next year said; “I feel absolutely blessed and completely spoilt. Thank you so much to Cavendish Square, Elegance Fabrics and Paul van Zyl Couture for making my dreams come true.”
