What is your Company about?

We are all about passion, a passion for people (services) and a passion for technical material (equipment). From the moment a bride books Hometown Productions we assist them on every technical aspect of the wedding. We offer various wedding packages, depending on their needs and budget.

What do you have to offer brides-to-be out there?

Brides often overlook the role of proper sound and lighting, or even "technical production" as part of the wedding. The correct application of the sound equipment will ensure that every guest will hear what is being said with no annoying humming sounds or buzzes.

The proper use of lighting in and around the venue will not only create an amazing ambiance, but it will also help the photographer create those picture-perfect moments that the couple can cherish for the rest of their lives. 
We provide our clients with experienced and professional DJ Services or a live band as entertainment, to fit their taste and budget.

We offer complete technical solutions for the perfect wedding.   

What do you reckon is the one thing that makes your establishment so successful?

Apart from the fact that we absolutely love what we do and we are extremely good at it, our team strongly believes that the clients are the most important persons of our business. They are an essential part of our company.

It is our policy that each couple deserves courteous behaviour and a strict attention to match their detail, purely because they are the lifeblood of our organisation.

Regarding Consultations – what do you offer in terms of this?

We prefer to meet with our clients at the chosen venue if possible. When at the venue, our clients can explain more accurately what ideas they have in mind, and we can easily advise on what would work and where the best location for the needed equipment would be.

Our consultations are free of charge and in some cases, where the bride is overseas; we mainly use e-mail or Skype until we can meet them in person.

Are you currently taking on any exciting ventures?

The wedding industry is ever changing and therefore we try staying abreast with the newest trends around. Although new fashions, wedding themes and ideas we definitely are always up-to-date.

We are currently expanding our lighting division, providing our clients with a wider variety of lighting equipment to create the perfect look and feel for their wedding. Another exciting venture is that we are on board for a celebrity wedding towards the end of the year.

Something extra

We have teamed up with Wedding Info Centre in the Meltz building next to the Somerset Mall, on their concept of a permanent bridal expo. We will be displaying a couple of items that is available from Hometown including LED Lighting, fairy lights and fairy curtains, uplighters and much more.

What's more, brides will be able to see a wide spectrum of other service providers under one roof. With a little coffee shop inside the building it also creates the perfect place for meetings and consultations. Wedding Info Centre will open its doors in June 2011.
