I met Wade van Der Merwe when planning the SA Weddings Bride of the Year Event. He designed the most spectacular display for the Cake Table – one I can only describe as a Masterpiece! It not only astounded me, but also the attendees at the event.

It was such a pleasure to work with someone so talented, humble and hardworking. He comes highly recommended and with a great sense of humour.

Our company specializes in wedding cakes to suite all styles and tastes and do creations from traditional to ultra modern and contemporary. What do you have to offer brides-to-be out there? We offer wedding cakes, edible gifts, High Teas, deserts and candy bars as well as desserts made up for plating at venues as well as buffets. We work with all the different mediums including, sugar, fondant, chocolate, Italian meringue, and marzipan. Our wedding cake selection includes : Cake centre pieces - main cake Cup cakes Petit fours Small cakes Chocolate cups Croqeumbouch Dessert cake stands with a variety of items What do you reckon is the one thing that makes your establishment so successful? The success of our company is due to hard work and the constant pursue of perfection, versatility, reliability, the use of best quality products and professionalism. The majority of our business is referred through word of mouth which obviously confirms our success. Regarding Consultations – what do you offer in terms of this? We insist on consultations at our offices prior to an event and do not charge a consultation fee and can set up tatsings if brides are indecisive on what flavour and style they would prefer. Best days for a consultation would be Mondays to Thursdays. Our responsibility does not end with the mere production of confectioneries. Every cake is viewed as as a piece of art and obviously the presentation of it is critical. For this reason, Fridays and Saturdays are unsuitable for consultations. We can, however, arrange for consultations during the week, after hours. Are you currently taking on any exciting ventures? We will be launching our high tea selection soon which offers brides a more cost effective option with creative options for winter and summer. The high teas can be done at a venue of your choice which includes your home for a more personal approach.
