The Founders and co-owners of Blank Canvas – Sunelle and Margaux van den Berg (No they’re not sisters, it’s a complete coincidence) are two fantastic ladies! Not only are they hardworking and talented but they are compassionate and passionate with each and every bridal couple, client and event they work on!

Thank you for everything ladies – it’s always fun to work with you! What is your Company about? Blank Canvas is all about creating spectacular, one-of-a-kind events. For us, it's about a personal touch and personal service and we never approach any two weddings/events the same. Every client comes to us with specific needs and ideas and we use our expertise and amazing contacts in the industry to help them create the event of their dreams. What do you have to offer brides-to-be out there? Blank Canvas is a complete one-stop shop when it comes to wedding planning! By contacting us, Brides have their entire wedding at their fingertips! We offer them a completely stress-free journey and a blissfully happy and relaxed wedding day, knowing that everything is taken care of and in place for their dream day. What do you reckon is the one thing that makes your establishment so successful? We think that there are two things that set us apart and make us successful: Our passion for what we do and our incredible service. We absolutely love what we do and that makes it easy for us to provide the best possible service to all of our clients! Regarding Consultations – what do you offer in terms of this? The first consultation with us is free! We love meeting our new clients personally to chat about their ideas and dreams and to get to know what they like and don't like. After that first meeting, we stay in constant communication with them via e-mail, telephone or skype, so that we stay on the same page and none of the details slip through the cracks. Are you currently taking on any exciting ventures? Blank Canvas is on board for two celebrity weddings and we are very excited about that! (Secrecy is of the utmost importance, of course, so we can't divulge any further information as yet - you will have to watch this space...) We are also busy revolutionizing our business in terms of 'Going Green' and we're really excited about this venture in terms of helping our planet, one event at a time! We also recently launched our new weekly DIY blog which we absolutely love! Anything else you would like to add? Blank Canvas is based in Durbanville, but we don't limit ourselves to Cape Town only. We have done weddings and events from Hermanus to Johannesburg and everywhere in between. We love doing what we do and are willing to do it - just about anywhere!
