Those who dabble in black magic know how to test the waters to create extraordinary work and that’s exactly what we did with our July styled shoot.
We had this dream to be bold, daring and shock the industry with something that’s not often thought of when you hear the word ‘wedding.’
One of the best elements of this shoot is the fact we were able to collaborate with amazing service providers across the board. Being able to sit together with 2iC Project Management, Red Hot Events and Joan Bloom and gather inspiration from each other is a gift, it’s magic.
Secluded from the world in the VSRS stone yard just outside of Stellenbosch was a dream location highlighting the unique atmosphere that was created by 2iC Project Management, Joan Bloom and Red Hot Events.
Charlotte Francina Designs brought our vision to life with her remarkable dresses – proving that black is beautiful! Her creative designs brought a special magic to our styled shoot. These exquisite dresses were modeled by the beautiful Tarryn Maria and Morgan De Klerk.
But of course, we wouldn’t have captured such incredible photographs without the expertise of Inecke our photographer who truly brought our shoot to life.
Talking about florals, Joan Bloom ( a floral story) left us speechless with all the peonies and so much more a girl could dream of having! The cascading arrangements that lay across the candle adorned table really brought the finishing touch to the looks she created for the shoot. Let's not forget the two phenomenal bouquets that she created that brought a unique twist to the entire styled shoot.
This magical styled shoot would not have been the same without all of the collaborators from the concept SA Weddings created to the styling and coordination from 2iC Projects, the decor & styling from Red Hot Events and the amazing florals from Joan Bloom – we were terribly lucky to pull off all the elements of ‘The Inky Styled Shoot’ and a massive shout out to our jaw-dropping models, Tarryn Lombard and Morgan De Klerk who's hair and makeup was flawlessly done by the amazingly talented Alicia Buckle.
Meraki Blush Bakery created a cake that was truly out of this world and they can be proud at the mere thought, effort and task of creating a work of art that inspired us all.
Last but not least, Barefeet Videography was able to capture the behind the scenes footage of one of the best styled shoots yet.
Thanks a million to everyone involved in creating this stone yard fun! The effort put into this shoot by all was more than we ever expected, it was pure magic.
