How to: Blush Application

Powder is the easiest blush formula to use, and I will be using it to create a natural, healthy and pretty look with my model. Blush can also be used to create the dramatic contouring sometimes seen in fashion shows and the theatre.

Using two shades of blush, I apply a bronzer and a pop of a brighter colour on top.
Starting with my bronzer, I apply it just below the cheek bone. Feel with your fingers to find where the cheekbones are.
Smile and apply the product to the apple of the cheeks.
Blend toward the hairline, then down to soften the edges.
Blend thoroughly, keeping the most product on the highest part of the cheekbone.
Step back and look from a distance to see if it looks natural and even. Turn your head to each side. Your face should look absolutely natural and balanced. A powder puff or fingers can be used to soften and correct a heavy application.
Top Tip: Never use blush on the eyelids as it is too red and will make the eyes look sore and tired.
There you go, beautiful rosy glowing cheeks! :)
